Neilson Financial Services is a global life insurance intermediary, providing a simple approach to life insurance by focusing on product development and customer experience.  We’re leaders in the UK life insurance market, and are proud to have launched two brands in Canada just this year. Zesty Insurance and Cover Direct are new Canadian brands that offer a fresh take on life insurance, with all products sold exclusively through our friendly, expert sales team here at Neilson!

Our Contact Centres support sales for both brands, with our Agents enjoying the support, development and satisfaction that comes with making thousands of sales per month. This is a sales focussed Training role where results improvement must be the main goal when considering content and delivery.

We’re experiencing a period of rapid growth, so this is an exciting time to join the Neilson team, with plenty of opportunity for professional growth. This is an in-office position only and successfully screened candidates are welcome to visit our downtown Toronto Offices just minutes from Go and TTC subway stations.

Who we’re looking for:

  • A demonstrable expert in sales methods and practices
  • An excellent communicator, with strong professional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • A dynamic individual with the proven ability to create and deliver training with successful learning outcomes
  • A proactive nature and strong organizational skills
  • Someone with a background in training and development, ideally in a sales environment

Role responsibilities:

To identify and deliver effective learning interventions for teams and individuals across the business. You will also perform induction training for new hires, with a particular focus on setting our sales agents up for success by guiding them through from induction to their graduation to the sales floor.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a training and development management role
  • Experience of creating and delivering an effective induction programme
  • A Learning & Development related qualification is preferred but not essential
