Job Role
As Head of Lead Generation at Neilson, you will be responsible for increasing lead volumes and brand awareness via paid social channels. Working closely with the Director of Lead Generation in each market, you will be given the opportunity to manage all aspects of our paid social media execution including planning, content development and daily trading across a variety of channels including Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. This is very much a hands-on role that is essential to our business growth strategy in the UK and Canada, and emerging markets.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute our paid social media lead generation strategy, for all direct brands and markets
- Own the end-to-end management and deliverables of specified paid social campaigns from implementation to optimisation
- Work in support of our Director/s of Lead Generation to ensure short and long term targets are being met and learnings are shared in order to support and scale paid social marketing across all brands and markets
- Adopt and execute a continual ‘test and learn’ approach to all lead generation activity
- Innovate and create news ways to enhance campaign performance using new features and content
- Support the Director/s of Lead Generation on the day to day management of paid social media lead generation in all markets
- Share your experience to improve and test existing campaigns and paid social strategies
- Provide support to the wider Media Buying function as/when needed
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in producing social media advertisements and campaigns for a consumer facing brand, ideally in the financial services space
- Ideally worked in a lead generation focused role and/or life insurance background
- A strong knowledge of Facebook Business & Ads Manager, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok
- Knowledge of technical campaign setup and tracking
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from large data sets
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – in particular Excel, in analysing data sets, formulas and pivot tables
- A high degree of numeracy and literacy; fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to identify new opportunities, test, learn and maximise performance
- Experience with budget management for paid media campaigns
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Ability to create detailed content plans/calendars
- Have strong experience working on projects from start to finish
