Job Role

The role:

The Paid Social Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position focused on supporting the Paid Social Media team in a variety of tasks including compliance approvals, reporting, managing social media comments, and administrative duties. This role serves as a foundational step in the marketing department with a clear pathway for professional development towards a Paid Social Media Manager role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Approvals: Assist in ensuring that all paid social media content adheres to industry standards and company policies. Coordinate with the legal and compliance teams for necessary approvals.
  • Reporting: Support the creation of reports on campaign performance, audience insights, and other key metrics. Help in analysing data to inform future campaign strategies
  • Social Media Comment Management: Monitor and manage comments on paid social media posts, ensuring timely and appropriate responses and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Paid Social Media team, such as managing creative briefs, and preparing presentations.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in setting up and managing paid social media campaigns under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Professional Development: Engage in learning opportunities and training programs to advance skills relevant to becoming a Paid Social Media Manager.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Basic analytical skills to understand campaign performance data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of social media management tools.Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
