Job Role

Reporting into the Paid Media Manager and working closely with the Head of Digital Marketing and wider Digital team, the Digital Performance Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the in-house and external Paid Media teams with the day-to-day activity, with a focus on paid social and native. The role holder will deliver the paid social and native marketing strategy across all Neilson Financial Services brands to maximise the performance of new customer acquisition campaigns, supporting the launch and long-term sustainability of any current and future channels and brands.

What you will do:

  • Digital campaign briefing, set-up and management of the day-to-day paid social and native campaigns.
  • Auditing and evaluating of accounts to ensure they are being executed as per the brief and in line with best practice.
  • Tracking, optimisation and forecasting of paid social and native marketing activity with strong focus on ROI, spend optimisation and other performance KPIs.
  • Reviewing progress and reporting against key channel metrics and targets daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc, as required.
  • Analysing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data.
  • Direct account management and support in managing paid social and native partners or agencies, with the goal of establishing long-lasting relationships.
  • Channel and landing page A/B testing with focus on CRO and profit.
  • Collaborating and forming strong relationships with Creative, BI and Compliance teams as well as key agencies and external partners.
  • Delivering regular reporting and analysis to partners or agencies in person or via conference calls, presenting findings or planning A/B tests.
  • Creative development, updating and proofing, ensuring this is executed whilst following our Compliance procedures, GDPR and other relevant data privacy laws, always acting with integrity and due diligence.
  • Keeping up to date with industry updates, including new commercial opportunities from partners and social channels and presenting opportunities to line manager.

Who you are:

  • A passion for digital marketing and 1+ years of related experience.
  • An understanding or demonstrable interest in digital marketing.
  • Analytical, meticulous to detail, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Looking to develop data skills such as data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for producing both internal reports and external partner/agency presentations.
  • Previous experience working with Facebook Business Manager (or other bid management platforms) to implement and optimise campaign performance advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, KPI driven environment.
  • Self-starter and proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
  • A collaborative and positive attitude – a team player.
  • Strong stakeholder management (internal and external).
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to embrace change in a fast-paced environment and respond positively to new opportunities.
  • Organised and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Have a degree (desirable but not essential).
